Am 12. Mai wird gemeinsam mit Magdalena Fürnkranz (Institut für Popularmusik) an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (mdw) einen Studientag zur Diskokultur im ehemaligen Jugoslawien organisiert.

Dieser wir aus verschiedenen Teilen bestehen: wissenschaftliche Vorträge, eine Sound Lecture, eine Buchpräsentation, eine Ausstellungseröffnung und eine Dj-Line. Unten und im Flyer finden Sie eine genauere Ablaufskizze der Veranstaltung. Eine Publikation zum Thema, die auch den Katalog der Ausstellung beinhalten wird, ist ebenfalls in Planung und wird voraussichtlich 2023 erscheinen. Die gesamte Veranstaltung ist öffentlich und bei freiem Eintritt zugänglich.
